Ohorongo Tented Camp is a small camp, catering to guests in just four tents, so the experience and atmosphere around the camp is intimate and peaceful. Nestled on a rock terrace high up on the slope of the Waterberg, the chalets of the Waterberg Plateau Lodge afford grand vistas of the endless Kalahari bush savannah below.

/Ai-Ais lies at the southern end of the Fish River conservation area in the namibian portion of the /Ai-/Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park. /Ai-/Ais means "burning water" in one of the local languages and refers to the sulphurous hot springs found in this area.

The water from the springs bear natural curative ingredients and is especially therapeutic for people suffering from rheumatism. The resort prides itself on its main attraction: the spa facility. The thermal baths amnd heated swimming pools offer respite and relaxation after a long day of driving, or after completing a hike in the Fish River canyon.

The Private Bush Suite is situated in the open Acacia thornveld within the secluded wilderness area of the Okonjima valley with a backdrop of the sandstone Omboroko Mountains. The food served in the dining area is world class, with all the choice game available for viewing, also being served up with delicious vegetables that are also grown organically on the neighbouring sheep farm, Twilight(where meat is also culled).

Meals are served on the deck and guests are never bored with the large numbers of wildlife and birdlife that frequent the water hole. This lodge is set in a valley of dunes and watching the game emerge from various parts of the bush makes for a mesmerising experience.

A well-stocked bar manned by a jovial barman provides some much needed refreshments and on chilly nights a fire is lit in the lounge and guests sit around the fire sharing their travel stories and some refreshing drinks.

Ngepi Camp is situated in the upper reaches of the Okavango delta panhandle in the western Caprivi strip, Kavango region. The camp is set on an island under trees, with frontage on to a permanent river and surrounded by seasonally flooded swamps. It is an area with abundant wildlife, between Mahango National park, a short distance to the south, and Bwabwata National Park directly opposite across the river. Great care is taken to ensure the camp is as environmentally friendly as possible and involves the local community in many ways.

The prime accommodation in the camp is in the en suite tree houses built on the rivers edge, each house fitting the trees structure naturally. The houses have simple decor, with roll down reed walls and an evaporative air-conditioning system which uses a garden spray system on the roof as well as a cooling with a system of natural air flow.

There is a river view dining area with a bar, a complimentary coffee station, and a curio shop with high quality craftsman made items.

The novel swimming pool is a steel cage floating in the clear and clean river.

Ngepi offers a variety of activities to give a full delta experience, including sunset and sunrise boat cruises, fishing, mokoro trips, Dragon River Rafting, guided nature and village walks, and game drives in the National Parks.

Children of all ages are welcome, but there are age restrictions on some activities.

The camp is accessed by road from the east in Namibia, and the west and south from Botswana. Light aircraft are served by the nearby Bagani Airstrip in Divundu as well as Shakawe Airstrip to the south in Botswana.

As if an African kingdom of old, Damara Mopane Lodge is constructed in a semi-circle of interlinking pathways leading to a lavish swimming pool at its centre. The Nest @ Sossus is tucked away in a lush valley on the private Namib Tsaris Conservancy, and it backs up against the great escarpment in the Namib Desert. The Brandberg Rest Camp, familiarly known as the BRC, is located in the village of UIS situated approximately 30 km from the foot of the Brandberg. Around 320 km from Windhoek and 180 km from Swakopmund en-route to the Etosha Game reserve when travelling from the coastal area. The Brandberg is the highest mountain in Namibia and is famous for the White Lady and other Bushman paintings as well as its diverse geology situated in the southern part of rural, unspoilt Damaraland. The Brandberg Rest Camp is a great place to catch your breath and to use as a base from which to explore Damaraland before travelling on to your next destination. Originally built as the Uis Tin Mine Recreation club from 2006 it has been the host to many travellers to this unique part of Namibia and features a half Olympic size pool to cool off from the Namibian desert heat. Located in the western part of the Etosha National Park between Okaukuejo and Dolomite Resorts, Olifantsrus Campsite is a camping-only facility. The facility has ten campsites with five power stands. Each power stand is shared among two campsites.

The campsites take a maximum of 8 pax per site. There are braai facilities for campers and flat bases to make a fire. The camp opens at sunrise and closes at sunset as per the general park regulations and day visitors are only allowed to use the picnic facilities up until 16h00.

Ongava Lodge is one of Namibia’s premier lodges on one of the country’s most important private game reserves.

The well-established Ongava Lodge is situated in the privately owned Ongava Game Reserve along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Placed as it is close to the top of a hill in the foothills of the Ondundozonanandana range, the vantage point is beautiful and overlooks a well-frequented waterhole and the plains beyond.

Ongava Lodge offers luxury accommodation in 14 rock-and-thatch en-suite chalets. Positioned on the edge of a 250-metre high dune, Dune Camp has the most extraordinary views across the Namibrand reserve.  The main areas are spread out across a series of interlocking decks ensuring that the lounge, dining area and tea room all enjoy views across the endless dune landscape to the mountains beyond.  The tented and wooden structures are designed for the desert. The canvas sides can all be opened up capturing the cool breeze in the hot summer months, and in winter keeping you warm when the canvas sides are rolled down.

Dune camp has a wonderful charm which appeals to a traveler looking for a down to earth but still luxurious experience. The main areas are intimate and the fire pit encourages conversation between guests.  We seat our guests at a long shared table for dinner but private tables can be requested.

The Camelthorn Kalahari Lodge is aptly named as it finds itself between two sand dunes in an area peppered with Camelthorn trees which are endemic to this region.

The 12 rondavel-style thatched huts are sparsely set against a backdrop of red dune sands, yellow grasses, piercing blue skies and the greens and browns of the wide-spread Camelthorn and Acacia trees.

The 12 rooms are smaller than those at Zebra lodge but are styled the same way with crisp white linen on comfortable beds. The San-inspired décor compliments this stylish yet rustic style. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a large shower, air conditioning and a tea and coffee station. This lodge is designed to cater for the more young at heart and the rooms are therefore at an adequate distance from one another. Each rondavel has a small stone patio from which the captivating scenes of the Kalahari Desert can be taken in.

An inviting, sparkling blue pool which attracts the odd Oryx despite there being a waterhole in close proximity is the first sight to catch your eye as you enter the main area of the lodge. The lounge has comfortable leather seating and is next to the bar that leads to a boma area where large fires are lit and barbecues can be enjoyed at night. An upstairs restaurant overlooking the majestic sights serves an alternative area where sumptuous meals are served. The kitchen is also replenished with organically grown vegetables from the neighbouring farm, Twilight and guests truly enjoy the finest and freshest culinary delights that the Kalahari has to offer.

Guests of the Intu Afrika Game Reserve are encouraged to spend more than one night at the lodge because of the variety of activities with which guests can occupy and enthral themselves with. Waterberg Plateau Park is a national park in central Namibia encompassing the Waterberg Plateau, 68 km east of the town of Otjiwarongo. The Waterberg Plateau is a particularly prominent feature, elevated high above the plains of the Kalahari of eastern Namibia.

The plateua and some 405 km² of surrounding land were declared a Nature Reserve in 1972. The Waterberg Plateau Park is ecologically diverse, rich and has over 200 different species of bird and some rare species of small antelope on the lower hills of the mountain.

Every soft curve or ragged edge frames the landscape in a different way, as if you are seeing for the first time, every time.

Down to earth, relaxed, innovative and charming are Etosha Safari Camps alluring qualities - and of course, its proximity to Etosha National Park. This friendly safari camp has cosy accommodation set between the mopane trees, an inviting circular swimming pool, a lush green campsite and ample character. Huddled in the rocks, with sweeping views across the Aba Huab valley, Camp Kipwe is full of surprises, starting when guests first arrive. It appears as if rocks have tumbled down the hill to reveal this gem of a camp. The setting is one of intimacy and space. An inviting lounge area, where birds fly in to enjoy the water seeping from the rocks, a refreshing swimming pool nestled in the rocks and a scattering of bungalows complete this eco friendly camp.

The Stiltz offers the most spectacular views in Swakopmund, overlooking either the Atlantic Ocean, the river-bed, the sand dunes, or the bird rich lagoon at the river mouth.

There are 9 bungalows, built 3.5 meters above the vegetation, each accommodating 2 people, and 1 family bungalow accommodating maximum 4 people.    The 2 luxury villas can house 6 guests each.

Between Kaokoland and the Skeleton Coast, where the flat-topped Etendeka mountains and the carpet of rich red rock greet the tributaries of the Uniab River, lies Palmwag Lodge and Camp. Amid swaying makalani palms and robust mopane trees nourished by underground water, the lodge overlooks the sweeping northern Damaraland landscape peppered with green euphorbias.

Immersed in the African Mopani bush, Ongava Tented Camp is a natural extension of this wild, wonderful landscape.

The classic safari style camp is tucked in a hidden valley at the foot of a dolomite hill in Ongava Game Reserve bordering Etosha National Park.

Eight large comfortable Meru-style tents all have en-suite facilities, open air showers and private verandas; the family unit sleeps four. The main area, built of stone, canvas and thatch, fronts onto a much-frequented waterhole; watching wildlife coming to drink from here or from the swimming pool is a favourite pastime.

Ongava’s proximity to Etosha allows for game drives in the Etosha National Park and on the Ongava Reserve itself. Other possibilities include guided walks, birding and visiting hides. Ongava holds one of the largest rhino custodianships for the Namibian government in the country and is one of the few private game reserves in southern Africa where guests can see both black and white rhino.

Camp Sossus emphasises every aspect of our intention to redefine immersive exploration and luxury. Built into an old German Historic Fort built in 1897, Namutoni Resort is the perfect setting for a cultural adventure African savannah. It is located in the eastern part of the Etosha National Park in close proximity to the Fishers Pan - a hotspot for birders.

The romantic fort overlooks the flod-lit King Nehale Waterhole from which visitors can enjoy views of wildlife without leaving the resort. The swimming pooland bar offers moments to relax and socialize.

The Experience

Climb the 300-metre red dunes at Sossusvlei and gaze upon oceans of sand. Hike through a canyon carved by water over the millennia. Float above the world’s oldest desert in a hot air balloon, and see it come alive on nature walks, drives, e-bikes, or low-impact quad bikes. Spot desert-adapted wildlife such as ostriches, springbok, gemsbok, brown hyaenas, black-backed jackals, bat-eared foxes, perhaps an aardwolf, or the endemic dune lark. At dusk hear the call of barking geckos; at night go with a guide on a scorpion safari. Stargaze in one of the darkest places on Earth, and sleep out under the stars, contemplating space.

The Place

Little Kulala’s home is the 27 000-hectare Kulala Wilderness Reserve, a pristine wilderness sited in Namibia’s Namib, nicknamed ‘The Living Desert’. A welcome oasis, the camp lies along the dry Auab riverbed. You can’t get much closer to the renowned dunes of Sossusvlei and the haunting panoramas of Dead Vlei, accessible through an exclusive-use gate.

The Camp

Recently refurbished, Little Kulala entices with its adventures, its landscapes, its peace. Totally solar-powered, the new camp has cleaner, more modern lines than its predecessor, opening out more to the desert. Its 11 climate-controlled suites – each with its own plunge pool – honour the local geology, reflecting the surrounding grey and pink limestone in colour and texture. Each suite’s rooftop invites private sundowners and suppers, and a roll-out bed on a shaded sala is perfect for an afternoon siesta or starry sleep-out.

Desert Camp is is situated on a 40 000 hectare private reserve, with views over the desert landscapes and surrounding mountains, 5 km from Sossusvlei Lodge and the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon in the Namib Nauklauft Park. .

There are 28 spacious air-conditioned units with en-suite bathrooms, shaded verandas with a fitted kitchenette, barbeques, power points and adjacent parking areas. The units are intended for self-catering occupation, but the restauarant and other facilities at Sossusvlei Lodge can be utilized.

The facilties at Desert Camp main building include a fully stocked and serviced bar with big screen television, a swimming pool and 2 communal bomas with cooking and wash up facilities. Wi-Fi is access available at the bar area.

The nearby Sossusvlei Lodge Adventure Centre offers a range of desert activities including guided excursions and walks, hot-air ballooning, scenic flights, and sundowner drives.

Children of all ages are welcomed.

The camp is accessible to all vehicles on well-maintained gravel roads and is about a 1 hour flight from Windhoek, Swakopmund or Walvis Bay to the Sossusvlei landing strip.

We are delighted to announce the opening of Safari House on the 15^thApril 2019! Located on the Etosha Heights Private Reserve, just next to Safarihoek Lodge, it’s a traditional Namibian farmhouse that we’ve given the Natural Selection treatment and can be booked on an exclusive-use basis. Expect three, ensuite bedrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and sitting area inside. Outside, there’s a large veranda with a braai and plenty of outdoor seating, a fire pit and a second thatched braai area, as well as a swimming pool, all amidst the luscious green gardens.

 But perhaps the biggest luxury on offer at Safari House is freedom. With a private guide, vehicle and a chef all to yourself, it’s a safari that’s 100% on your terms whether you want to look for big game early in the morning, or have a leisurely start to the day. Flexibility is key here and the house is a perfect spot for families, groups of friends and adventurers looking for their very own, day-to-day itinerary.
