Zebra Kalahari Lodge
The Zebra Kalahari Lodge is one of 3 lodges on the Intu Afrika Private Game Reserve, set in the middle of the Kalahari Desert.
Accommodation is in 13 rooms consisting of 8 luxury rooms and 5 dune suites. The luxury rooms are located just next to the main area, and are very spacious with comfortable and modern furniture in browns and reds. Outside, through double glass doors, is a patio with table and chairs for sunset viewing or soaking up the scenery. The dune suites are situated further from the main area, surrounded by orange sands and with a more uninterrupted view. They are split level with a comfortable lounge on the lower level, complete with black leather sofas and armchairs, and the four poster bed on the higher level. All the rooms have air conditioning, minibars and hairdryers as well as en suite bathrooms with either a bath or a shower (or both in the honeymoon suite). The main area looks out across the red dunes of the Kalahari, and comprises a large open plan lounge and dining room with a fireplace and more leather sofas. This leads to outside seating which also looks over the pool, surrounded by sunloungers. Further back towards the reception is a small grassy garden with a pond and shaded seating areas. |
