We are deeply saddened to advise that on 2 March 2015 Tintswalo Atlantic Lodge was destroyed by a bush fire. Fortunately nobody was injured, and our thoughts are with the Tintswalo staff.
Tintswalo Atlantic Lodge boasts an exclusive and unique shoreline location within the protected Table Mountain National Park situated just outside of Hout Bay, Chapman’s Peak drive. There are 10 suites which are authentically decorated to emulate the experiences and colours of various islands of the world. Each suite, including the Presidential Suite, is situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean with unique views of the ocean and the majestic Sentinel mountain landmark across the bay. They provide supreme comfort and privacy, have a fireplace, spacious en suite bathroom, extra length double or twin bed, TV and all the necessary 5 star amenities, as well as a small private balcony. Tintswalo Atlantic chefs cater for any dietary requirements, provided there is advance notification. The pebbled beach directly in front of the lodge is secluded and sheltered by winds and is one of the boundaries of the Table Mountain National Park, globally known for its extraordinarily rich, diverse and unique fauna, flora and fynbos. |
Due to its virtual on-the-ocean setting, Tintswalo Atlantic offers exceptionally good whale and dolphin watching opportunities.
Daily guest activities can be arranged per individual requirements, some of which are exploring the Cape surrounds or the Winelands, helicopter flips over the peninsula, or enjoying the multitude of paths and walkways in the mountain reserve.
Children under the age of 12 are welcome at the Presidential Suite on a fully exclusive basis. Children of all ages are welcome should the lodge be on a full take over basis, and with the full understanding that the lodge is placed on the water’s edge.
