discovering the most exquisite jewels in South Africa’s crown. Royal Malewane, Birkenhead House and La Residence have been selected to provide you with luxurious accommodation and exceptional service as well as access to some of the finest golf courses in the country.

**This is a suggested itinerary which can be tailored to suit you perfectly, and can accommodate both golfers and non-golfers with numerous activities and excursions being available.**
Day 01
Upon arrival you will be met at O R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, and assisted onto a scheduled flight to Hoedspruit Airport where you will be collected and transferred to Royal Malewane .
Set deep in the African bush, on a private reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park, Royal Malewane offers visitors the thrill of an intimate game viewing experience and up-close sightings of the Big Five. Accommodation at Royal Malewane is three nights in a Luxury Suite on a full board basis including; local beverages, scheduled game activities and laundry.

Day 02
At Royal Malewane, you enjoy the luxury of private guided tours through the bushveld, in Land Rovers and on foot. Early morning and late afternoon game viewing expeditions offer the best opportunities to spot the magnificent wildlife as they move towards the water holes throughout the reserve.
On one of your days you will be assisted with a private chartered helicopter flight over the reserve, to Leopard Creek Country Club. Leopard Creek is currently rated as the No 1 Golf Course in South Africa by Golf Digest. It is ranked 80th on the 2011 World Top 100 ranking list.

Day 03
On the day not spent golfing at Leopard Creek, your scheduled wildlife experiences can be enhanced by an optional visit to the Cheetah Project or the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre.
And after a hot day's viewing or golfing activities, The Spa at Royal Malewane, surrounded by the untamed African bushveld, provides indoor and outdoor therapeutic massage, luxurious body treatments and hydrotherapy; or simply relax around the heated pool in the central courtyard, and enjoy the sights and sounds of Africa.

Day 04
After your last early morning game activity, you will be transferred back to Hoedspruit Airport where you will board a scheduled flight to Cape Town International Airport.
Again you will be met and assisted with a scenic 90 minute private transfer to the Birkenhead House in the picturesque seaside village of Hermanus, perched high upon the cliffs. You will be spending three luxurious nights, in a Standard Room, on a full board basis including local beverages and laundry.

Day 05
Spend the day on the exquisite Arabella Country Club’s golf course with striking views over the Bot River lagoon and the Kogelberg Mountain Range. Arabella Country Club’s links/parkland course was featured in Golf Digest’s USA’s Top 60 courses outside of America in 2007.
Arabella offers golfers the chance to experience one of South Africa’s most spectacular Par 5’s and to end their round on one of the finest finishing holes in the country.

Day 06
Hermanus is known for the whale migration past its shores, and keep your eye out for dolphins as well. The brave hearted can participate in Shark Cage diving in Gansbaai only 40 minutes away.
Numerous activities other than relaxing on the beach include Spa treatments, the Birkenhead Brewery Tour, a cheese tasting tour, guided nature walks, a visit to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, quad-biking, botanical tours at Dyer Island, and Wine Route tours.

Day 07
A scenic and breathtaking country drive of roughly 90 minutes takes you through St Lowry’s Pass and Houwhoek Pass, where you will reach heights of 420 metres above sea level and enter the famous Cape Winelands with picturesque historical towns such as Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl and Wellington.
You will spend the next three nights at the magnificent La Residence in a Luxury Room, on a full board basis including local beverages and laundry.

Day 08While in the Winelands you will experience the pleasure of playing Pearl Valley golf course, between the Simonsberg and Drakenstein Mountains. There is something very special about playing a round of golf on 212 hectares of tranquil, unspoiled landscape under brilliant blue South African skies.
Designed by the legendary Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus, there was no compromise in layout and design of this magnificent course and it holds true to its promise of an exceptional round of golf.

Day 09The remainder of your stay is at leisure. If you wish to venture out, visit the
historical towns of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek, famous for their
beautiful scenery, fine cuisine and art galleries.
There is a plethora of wine farms along the wine route; opt for the more renowned producers or stumble across a hidden gem at one of the smaller boutique estates. Wine farms in the region will happily ship purchases home for you.

Day 10, 11, 12A private road transfer of approximately an hour takes you to Cape Town where you will spend the next three nights in a Luxury Room at the Cape Grace hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
Situated on its own private quay in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, the Cape Grace has stunning views of Table Mountain, the international yacht marina and the working docklands of Cape Town’s harbour. While the location is inspiring and the amenities plentiful, it’s the service excellence that is the hallmark of the Cape Grace experience. If relaxation is what you’re after, then a day of pampering at the Spa at Cape Grace with its sweeping views of Table Mountain, the city skyline and yacht marina is a fine option. Time in the cosmopolitan ‘Mother City’ of Cape Town is always well spent! Some of the highlights and attractions include a tour of the peninsula, the glittering beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was once exiled, and Table Mountain, which was recently voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The 56-foot yacht ‘Spirit of the Cape’ is moored alongside the hotel and can be chartered for a sunset cruise around the bay. Learn more about the culture and history of the Cape by visiting the District Six Museum, the South African Museum and Company Gardens, City Hall and the Castle of Good Hope, Signal Hill, Green Market Square and Camps Bay and Clifton beaches. And if you haven’t had enough golf yet, why not play at the exceptional Steenberg Golf Course in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs?

Day 13You will be transferred back to Cape Town International Airport where you bid a fond farewell and board your flight back home, or, if you have more time, perhaps pop over to Botswana's Okavango Delta or Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls.
