The Luxury Golf Experience - 10 days
The Luxury Golf Experience offers the opportunity to experience the diversity that South Africa has to offer while at the same time playing golf at some world class championship courses: Leopard Creek, Arabella and Pearl Valley (with Steenberg as an optional extra).

**This is a suggested itinerary which can be tailored to suit you perfectly, and can accommodate both golfers and non-golfers with numerous activities and excursions being available.**
Day 01 Johannesburg ~ Mpumalanga
You will be met upon arrival at O R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, and assisted onto a scheduled flight to Kruger International Airport where you will be collected and transferred to the luxury Lukimbi Safari Lodge situated in the easily accessible southern portion of the Kruger National Park.
Your accommodation here will be for three nights in a Classic Suite on a full board basis including scheduled safari activities.

Day 02 Mpumalanga
On Day 2 you will be assisted with a private road transfer of 1 hour through the reserve, to Leopard Creek Country Club.
This Gary Player designed course was specially created to complement and enhance its natural surrounds. It is a course that challenges the world's top golfers yet which allows friends to play together for an enjoyable 18-holes. Leopard Creek is currently rated as the No 1 Golf Course in South Africa by Golf Digest.

Day 03 Mpumalanga
Your time at the lodge will be spent unwinding from the stresses of daily life in the phenomenally beautiful African bushveld and enjoying early morning and late afternoon game drives where, if you’re lucky, you’ll experience not only the Big Five but also a multitude of other wildlife species.

Day 04 Mpumalanga ~ Hermanus
After your last early morning game activity, you will be transferred back to Kruger International Airport where you will board a scheduled flight to Cape Town International Airport.
You will be assisted with a scenic 90 minute private transfer to the Arabella Hotel in the picturesque village of Hermanus. You will be spending three luxurious nights, in a Deluxe Room including bed and breakfast.

Day 05 Hermanus
Spend the day on the exquisite Arabella Country Club’s golf course with striking views over the Bot River lagoon and the Kogelberg Mountain Range. Arabella Country Club’s links/parkland course was featured in Golf Digest’s USA’s Top 60 courses outside of America in 2007.
Designed by the renowned Peter Matkovich, Arabella offers golfers the chance to experience one of South Africa’s most spectacular Par 5’s and to end their round on one of the finest finishing holes in the country.

Day 06 Hermanus
Wake up early today for your transfer through to Dyer Island Cruises, leaving every morning from Kleinbaai harbour. Besides seeing the amazing whales, this trip offers a complete experience of the Marine Big 5, which includes the whales, dolphins, African Penguins, Cape Fur Seals and surface viewing of the Great White Shark.
The boat has specialized guides, who can provide all the facts about the whales; these gentle giants are very curious, they often swim right up to the boat to get a better view of the boat and the guests. This trip takes about 2 hours and is a marine experience not to be missed!

Day 07 Hermanus ~ Winelands
A scenic and breathtaking country drive of roughly 90 minutes takes you through St Lowry’s Pass and Houwhoek Pass, where you will reach heights of 420 metres above sea level and enter into the famous Cape Winelands where you will be doing a wine tasting tour on route to Mont Rochelle.

Day 08 WinelandsThis morning you will be teeing-off on De Zalze’s gorgeous Golf Course with fairways lined with beautiful vineyards, olive groves and lavender fields.
Your afternoon is at leisure to explore the university town of Stellenbosch. World renowned for its many wine cellars and fine cuisine, it is a town steeped in early settler history and also has numerous art galleries and boutique shops.

Day 09 WinelandsToday you will experience the pleasure of playing Pearl Valley’s golf course, designed by the legendary Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus.
The rest of your day is at leisure. There is a veritable plethora of wine farms along the wine route - opt for the more renowned producers or stumble across a hidden gem at one of the smaller boutique estates.

Day 10 Winelands ~ Cape Town DepartureYou will be transferred back to Cape Town International Airport where you bid a fond farewell and board your flight back home, or, if you have more time, perhaps consider extending your holiday to include a safari in Botswana's Okavango Delta or Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls.
