The Highlands is set at the edge of the mountain forest hugging the Olmoti Volcano to the north of the Ngorongoro Crater, with sweeping views spanning east and west from where you can enjoy both sunsets and sunrises.
This camp offers a comfortable and stylish high altitude retreat in dome shaped tents, the shape of which was inspired by the traditional Masai bomas in the surrounding highlands. It is deliberately positioned for maximum privacy, richness of adventure and a wide range of activities. The 7 luxurious tents, including 1 family suite and 1 honeymoon tent, have en suite bathrooms with showers and flush toilets. Bay windows offer you endless views from the comfort of your bed. Your domed suite will be kept beautifully warm throughout the night with wood burning stoves. The heart of the camp is built around an inside fire place, the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day exploring. |
The wild highlands which surround the camp are home to leopard, buffalo, elephant and much more, as well as the Masai people whose pastoral way of life has remained unchanged for centuries.
