Singita Faru Faru Lodge is tucked away in a diverse habitat in the Grumeti Reserve. The location of the lodge allows it a view of the renowned migratory route traversed annually by more than a million wildebeest, and the predators that lie in wait. The area is also home to numerous other large herds of game.
Situated on a slope, basking in the abundance of animal species and birdlife around it, Singita Faru Faru Lodge lends a contemporary style to a safari.
The contrast of stone and canvas is integrated in 8 open-style suites and 1 Villa Suite.
These en suite air-conditioned units each have a bath and outdoor shower, a reading area, huge picture window, personal bar and fridge, and a deck with Swarovski spotting scope.
All are equipped with electronic safes, overhead fans, hairdryers, direct dial telephones with US lines and wireless internet access.
The Villa Suite, accommodating 4 adults, is made up of 2 identical double bedrooms and a large shared open space lounge/dining area. The bedrooms are en suite with a bath and outdoor shower.
There is also a dedicated family suite which is suitable for a family of 4.
The main lodge area offers a dining room, bar lounge with satellite television, DVD player and library, outdoor barbeque area and the Singita shop.
The organic lines of 2 rim-flow swimming pools echo those of a watering hole that lies just below.
Elevated viewing decks over the watering hole allow you to view game without even leaving your lodge, and a Swahili-inspired ‘beach’ offers the opportunity for some serious rest and relaxation.
In addition to twice daily game drives with professional guides, you can enjoy fun activities such as archery, stargazing safaris, mountain biking, and a balloon safari across the plains of the Serengeti.
Laundry and valet services are offered, as well as spa and gym facilities.
Singita Faru Faru Lodge welcomes children of all ages. In the interest of safety, participation of children in any game activities (drives/walks/bike rides) is at the discretion of your guide.
