Saruni Wild

Picture

Country:  Kenya

Location: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Style: Luxury Tented Camp

Saruni Wild is located in a remote and scenic valley at the heart of the wilderness of Kenya.   It is rich in both privacy and wildlife such as elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo and impala.

This oriental looking 3 tented camp is designed with all the comforts: flush toilets, hot and cold water and large showers.   The verandas of each tent offer you uninterrupted views over the Yaile Mountains of Northern Masai Mara.

The camp is an ideal base for those interested in watching, tracking and studying elephants.

Day and night game drives are offered.   Some of the abundant nocturnal species seen around the camp are leopard, greater galago, genet, and white tailed mongoose.

Birdlife is prolific with more than 500 varieties living in the Mara.

Walks are individually tailored through a breathtaking valley, forests, springs and mountains.

Special drawing safaris provide a completely new perspective on nature.   Designed to suit both amateur and experienced artists, they are led by a Saruni resident artist and a professional Masai safari guide.   If an extended time is spent in one location, a special tent is erected to provide shade, safety and comfort.

Weather conditions are ideal all year round.
