Robanda Tented Camp

Picture

Country:  Tanzania

Location: Serengeti National Park

Style: Semi-Luxury Tented Camp

Robanda Tented Camp is set on a prime location for viewing the wildebeest migration, outside the western boundary of the Serengeti National Park.

There is also a high concentration of resident game all year round such as large herds of wildebeest and zebra, elephant and giraffe.   Some of the abundant variety of other animal species sighted here are lion, hyena, gazelle, topi, and buffalo.

This small and intimate camp has 5 budget and 5 semi-luxury tents all equipped with mosquito nets, mosquito coils, candles & matches.

The spacious semi-luxury tents with annex bathrooms all have private verandas where you can relax and observe herds of wildebeest and zebra grazing on the Serengeti plains.

The panoramic open restaurant and bar presents a marvellous opportunity for you to spot animals coming to drink at the water hole only 30m distant.

Being situated outside the Serengeti National Park, night game drives are permitted during which you can encounter some of the nocturnal animals, such as leopard, aardvark and bat-eared foxes.

A game walk with a ranger is a safe and thrilling way to experience the bush and its inhabitants at close range.   Early morning walks are followed by bush breakfasts, whereas sundowners are served after walks at the close of the day.
