Rivertrees Country Inn lies nestled in the foothills of Mount Meru, in view of Mount Kilimanjaro.
There are 10 individually styled garden rooms, 2 hidden cottages and the River House — a secluded thatched cottage on the Usa River. Each of the 10 Garden Rooms is nestled under a blanket of trees, overlooking the expansive gardens of Rivertrees. Amenities include self-contained bathrooms with shower or bathtub, mosquito netting, hot water, bottled water, complimentary wifi in public areas, a laptop available for guest use, laundry services, and private dining upon request. The 2 River Cottages are situated along the Usa River under a grove of trees boasting 2 families of monkeys (Blue & Vervet). Additional amenities are an outdoor private shower, a large patio overlooking the river, and complete handicap accessibility. The River House offers 2 identical wings, each suited for double accommodation, available to book either as a partial or complete house. A private chef and butler can be arranged. Other features are a stone designed full bath and shower, complimentary private wifi access, living room, bar, full kitchen, and terrace area: perfect for relishing a cold drink or sumptuous meal while reflecting on the Usa River. |

A canoe tour of Lake Duluti is one of the attractions available. Canoeing is perfect either early in the morning or late in the afternoon due to the high activity of wildlife around the lake. It is especially stunning in the late afternoon when the cattle egrets come onto the lake to roost for the evening.
