Situated on a beautiful coastline, Pongwe Beach Hotel is a tranquil paradise retreat set within a secluded bay on the east coast of Zanzibar.
Accommodation comprises traditional beach-side cottages with various configurations: 3 garden view cottages, 16 beachfront cottages, and 4 sea view suites with private plunge pools. All rooms are en suite with Moroccan style walk in showers, and equipped with fans, mosquito nets and complimentary bottled mineral water. Leisurely breakfasts can be enjoyed on your own private terrace or balcony. Meals include fresh ingredients available on the island, using local suppliers. Dietary requirements are catered for with prior notice. Facilities include a library, internet access and laundry services. Because of the large tidal difference on the east coast of Zanzibar, the infinity pool is too shallow for swimming at low tide – high tide is great !
