Paraa Safari Lodge is located in Murchison Falls National Park, overlooking the Nile River.
The safari décor of the lodge still reflects the bygone era of early explorers, enshrined with a modern touch.
You have a choice of accommodation at the lodge – a cottage, suites, double, twin and single. Each of the rooms comes with a balcony and private bathroom.
The luxurious pool has a beautiful view of the winding river below.
This river attracts a whole host of different wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos and water birds. Other animals include lion, warthogs, buffalo, rare aquatic sitatunga antelope, giant forest hog, Uganda kob, topi, waterbuck, elephant and leopard.
A number of excursions and activities includes exhilarating safari drives, and boat trips along the Nile River ending at the foot of Murchison Falls, bush breakfasts, visits to the rhino sanctuary, and culture talks.
For the more adventurous, you can trek up to the top of the falls and marvel at the views through the mist.
A variety of ecosystems and an impressive 451 species of birds await you here.
