Ngare Serian

Picture

Country:  Kenya

Location: Masai Mara Game
                 Reserve

Style: Luxury Tented Camp

Ngare Serian is located in the Pusinkariak Conservancy which embraces 6km of river front and dominated by the lofty Siria Escarpment rising 1000 ft above Masai Mara.

Because of its intimate and select character, Ngare Serian is suited to being set aside in its entirety for family gatherings or close friends on a private basis.

Each of the 4 tented suites stands on a rich hard wood deck, positioned above the boisterous rapids of the Mara River.   Bathtubs on raised decks over the river allow you to wallow in total seclusion.

The tents feature showers, twin basins and flushing toilets.  They are huge traditional marquees furnished with enormous four-poster beds which dominate the open fronted hardwood floors.

The camp is lit by traditional storm lanterns and candlelight and is accessed by a rope bridge.

With an average ratio of 3 staff to 1 guest, you are assured of being well catered for.

The staff begin by serving you early morning tea in the comfort of your bed, then organise your laundry and plan a menu with the chefs to suit your individual taste.

Safari guides organise picnic breakfasts, lunches, sundowners and starlit dinners.

Guests have the exclusive use of a 4WD vehicle accompanied by a driver guide and spotter for day and night game drives.

Other activities on offer are guided walks, fly camping, bush baths and river fishing.
