On Tuesday 06 August the SAVE Foundation is hosting a fundraiser at Papaya Thai Cammeray, Sydney, in conjunction with author and zoologist Tammie Matson (http://tammiematson.com/), who will be launching her new book “Planet Elephant”. Click here for the flyer.
The cost of the evening is $100 per person, including a 3 course dinner and drinks, with the proceeds going directly to anti-poaching teams in Kenya and Zimbabwe.
African Ubuntu Safaris is donating a 6 night luxury Zimbabwe safari which will be auctioned off, along with other live auction items, and a silent auction will also be held for African artefacts and other items.
The evening should be good fun, as well as very interesting, with Tammie sharing some of her recent experiences in Africa and Asia, where she has been actively tackling the scourge of the rhino horn and ivory trade.
Tickets are available at http://www.trybooking.com/Booking/BookingEventSummary.aspx?eid=54719 if you are interested (please book on either Courtnay or Cuan’s table on the list).
