The following incredible story is from Graham 'Tjokkie' Simmond, the manager at Wilderness Safaris Mombo Camp, in the Okavango Delta:
"Before the sun had started to rise the incessant chattering of the vervet monkeys and deep-throated shouts from baboons resting in the trees around camp got everyone looking for some sort of predator.
It was only when the guides left camp shortly after sunrise did they pick up female leopard tracks heading towards Little Mombo Room 3. But what to do when the tracks suddenly disappear into thin air? Look on the boardwalks!
There she was, Legadema as beautiful as ever resting on the deck of Little Mombo Room 3! Only problem was that she was preventing guests from exiting their room and so they would have to patiently wait until she was a safe distance.
She eventually sauntered off down the boardwalk, spraying and marking her territory along the way. After passing the main entrance to Little Mombo, she jumped down and rested in the thickets, vanishing before our eyes."
