Nasikia Mobile Camp

Picture

Country: Tanzania

Location:
Serengeti National Park

Style: Mobile Tented Camp

Nasikia Mobile Camp follows the great wildebeest migration and other amazing wildlife from Ndutu in the Ngorongoro Conservation area to the northern plains of the Serengeti National Park.

The camp is positioned in carefully selected campsites which are ideal locations for migration game viewing, and comprises 8-12 tents that remain mobile throughout the year, depending on seasonal reservation requirements and location of the wildebeest migration.

The interiors depict colours in natural tones to adhere to the intrinsic area in which the camp is located.

Each tent features fully netted beds, netted windows down each side of the tent, a bathroom with running water, flush toilet, and a bucket shower, and is fitted with an extensive solar lighting system for your convenience.

A path of lanterns weaves between the tents, and to the dining tent.    Lighting is a mixture of kerosene lanterns, solar guide lights and scented beeswax candles creating an enchanting setting to unwind after the day's adventures.

The lounge tent incorporates a library, and you can enjoy your sundowners around a wood fire.

Bush cuisine is prepared by the chefs by using fresh produce from all over Tanzania.

In the evenings until 10pm a generator is run which can be used for charging electrical equipment.

Some of the activities available are game viewing, walking/hiking in designated areas only, bird watching and hot air ballooning.
