Mara Toto Camp is in north central Masai Mara Game Reserve, on the border of the Olare Orok and Mara North Conservancies.
Its position on a small bend in the Ntiakitiak River, where thick forest meets savannah in the heart of magnificent predator country, affords it traversing rights of both Mara North Conservancy and the Masai Mara Game Reserve, which allows you the flexibility to explore far and wide in search of outstanding wildlife sightings.
Shaded by riverine forest, this camp consists of 4 custom-designed tents of light-colored flowing canvas open on the horizontal side with canopied ceilings, and furnished with an assembly of items reminiscent of the style of early exploration and discovery. En suite facilities include flush loos, bucket showers and tapped hot/cold water.
Wildlife is never far from your tent from where you can witness the great wildebeest and zebra migration, and you have the added advantage of each tent being supplied with binoculars for your use.
Activities include extensive game drives, balloon safaris (at extra cost), local village visits and unrivalled access to superior wildlife habitat as well as visits to local schools and Great Plains community projects in the surrounding area.
To capture the action and memories, professional camera equipment will be available for guest rental, and open-sided custom designed vehicles allow the very best equipment for photographic opportunities.
