Set back on the pristine waters of the Munyanga river and facing the Impenetrable Forest, Mahogany Springs offers accommodation in spacious suites with large double doors and windows.
Each suite has its own private terrace with panoramic views of the surrounding area, large en suite bathroom with an open terracotta shower, advanced mosoquito net system, and power points as well as a dressing table/desk.
A huge panoramic terrace stretches around the front of the main building offering you a wonderful place to enjoy the sounds of the river and the views of the forest, have a leisurely breakfast, or simply sit and relax.
The communal area includes a bar, restaurant, living room with a double-sided fireplace, book/dvd library (with portable dvd players) and board games. There is also a shop within the main building that has crafts, clothes and a large selection of souvenirs from around Uganda.
Some of the many activities at Mahogany Springs are: tracking the gorillas; meeting the Batwa tribe (formerly called Pygmies); bird spotting expeditions; or tree planting.
