Mahali Mzuri

Picture

Country: Kenya

Location: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Style: Luxury Tented Camp

Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s tented safari camp, located in the wildlife rich Olare Motorogi Conservancy, in the northern region of Kenya's famous Masai Mara ecosystem.

The accommodation is on the side of a lush valley with views over the rolling plains, and features 12 luxury tents, some of which are specially designed for families.

Each tented suite is positioned on a raised platform and includes a spacious bedroom with en suite bathroom, sitting area and a large deck overlooking the landscape - perfect for spotting the game that will almost certainly wander into view!

Dining at Mahali Mzuri comes in different forms from dinner in the main tent to bush BBQs, from  champagne picnics to sundowners, where you will be presented with a wide selection of African and international menus.

For relaxation you can unwind by the infinity pool or pamper yourself with a spa treatment.

Twice daily game drives and guided walks are conducted throughout the Olare Motorogi Conservancy which together cover 13,500 hectares, where you'll spot a diverse range of game, such as wildebeest, elephants, zebra, lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, impala and gazelles, and many more.

Walking safaris are always a unique way to view game at closer range, and for the adventurous there are opportunities to enjoy the area from a hot air balloon.

Game viewing is fantastic year round, however Mahali Mzuri is also well placed to take advantage of the annual 'great migration,' which sees up to one million wildebeest undertake a journey of roughly 1,600km.

To learn more about the Masai tribe, take a guided tour to the local villages, or plan a visit to the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Full day excursions with a packed lunch are also provided which afford you more flexibility to explore the conservancies.
