Lamai Serengeti Private Lodge
Lamai Serengeti is located at Kogakuria Kopjes, northern Serengeti.
It sits tucked amongst the rocks of Kogakuria Kopje with panoramic views over the vast plains and Masai Mara beyond. This ideal position affords it prime viewing of the spectacular annual wildebeest migration at the Mara River. The lodge comprises 12 rooms in all. These are split between 2 entirely separate lodges, Lamai Serengeti Main Lodge with 8 rooms, and the smaller Lamai Serengeti Private Lodge having 4 rooms. Lamai Serengeti Private Lodge’s 4 open-fronted rooms offer amazing views. They are constructed with a clever blend of canvas, plaster and natural poles. Amenities include en suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, flush toilets, in-room safes, and mosquito nets around the beds. There is 1 family room with children's annex and a shared bathroom. For your convenience charging sockets are provided in the rooms, and charging of equipment can also be done centrally in the manager's office. Regrettably, hairdryers cannot be used in the lodge. Guest facilities are a swimming pool, bar, and mess area. |

Please note that laundry facilities are quite basic and ironing is done with a coal iron.

At Lamai you can be as busy as you like with game drives and walks, or as lazy as you like enjoying the Serengeti from your room or the swimming pool.
Lamai Serengeti Private Lodge welcomes children over the age of 5, however only children from 12 years can participate in walking activities.
