Sheltered in a grove of acacia trees along the path of the migrating wildebeest between Kenya and Tanzania, Ikoma Tented Camp is situated at the border of the world renowned Serengeti National Park.
The 31 spacious semi-luxury tents have en suite bathrooms, modern furnishings and private verandas.
The central restaurant and bar area boast a large fireplace - an ideal spot to unwind after a day’s game viewing which explores Kirawira and the Grumeti River.
As the camp is located just outside the national park boundary, it is also possible to do night drives providing opportunities to see some of the nocturnal animals such as leopard, aardvark and bat-eared foxes.
Game walks with a ranger are an adventurous way to experience the bush and its inhabitants at close range. Early morning walks are followed by breakfasts in the bush whereas sundowners are served after walks at the close of the day.
