Hotel Europa hof
Hotel Europa hof, a family orientated hotel, has been part of the Swakopmund town picture since the beginning of the 20th Century. The Hotel is situated away from traffic or noise but is still within 3min walking distance from the beach, the city centre and most major tourist attractions. Every room has an en suite bathroom, all with showers, some with baths also. All rooms are equipped with telephones, colour TV with both English and German satellite channels, kettles and safes. As Swakopmund has a very mild climate compared to the central parts of Namibia all rooms are equipped with heaters instead of air-conditioning as this is of more importance at the coast. Free WiFi is offered throughout the hotel. The years that the hotel has been under German management have left a distinct impression that is typical for Swakopmund. This is not only noticeable from the distinct German architecture but also in the local and German food that is on offer in the restaurant. |
