Chamilandu Bushcamp is located in the remote, southern part
of the South Luangwa National Park, and situated in an ebony grove on the banks
of the Luangwa River.
Accommodation is provided in open-fronted thatched chalets on 2m high wooden stilts. Each chalet is en suite with twin showers, twin wash basins and toilet.
The central dining area, lounge and bar offer stunning views over the Luangwa River.
A hide is positioned next to a watering hole, and provides the perfect place for game viewing.
Activities on offer are guided walks, and day and night game drives.
Children of 12 years and older are welcome. However, as children under 12 years are not allowed on walking safaris in the park, families travelling with children aged 11 years and younger will need to reserve the entire camp on an exclusive basis.
They are also required to hire a private guide and vehicle for the duration of their stay, as this enables the adults to go on walking safaris while the younger children can enjoy game drives with the guide in the extra vehicle.
