Bilimungwe Bushcamp is located in the remote, southern part of the South Luangwa National Park, and situated in a mahogany grove overlooking a series of waterholes near the Luangwa River.
Accommodation is in open-fronted thatched chalets on wooden decks. Each chalet is en suite with indoor and outdoor showers, twin wash basins and toilet.
The shady central dining area, lounge and bar offer great game viewing opportunities due to overlooking a waterhole.
Activities include guided walks, and day and night game drives.
Children of 12 years and older are welcome. However, as children under 12 years are not allowed to go on walking safaris in the park, families travelling with children aged 11 years and younger will need to reserve the entire camp on an exclusive basis.
They will also be required to hire a private guide and vehicle for the duration of their stay, as this enables the adults to go on walking safaris while the younger children can enjoy game drives with the guide in the extra vehicle.
