The Bahnhof Hotel Aus offers accommodation in 21 rooms, and provides free wireless ADSL Internet.

An extensive à la carte menu as well as freshly prepared light meals, a selection of excellent wines, home-baked bread and cakes, a bar and sundeck, a sheltered beer garden, as well as a lounge with a cosy fireplace, await the weary traveller.

Traditional music and songs are performed by the local personal.   You can also enjoy various day tours and a "Sundowner Drive.”

For “fly-in” guests there is a landing strip nearby.

The area west of Aus is noted for its herd of feral horses living in the desert.  Their origin is uncertain but today there is a population of between 150 and 200 individuals which have adapted to the harsh environment.

They drink at an artificial water hole at Garub Pan where a blind has been erected to enable tourists to watch the animals without disturbing them.
