The Makgadikgadi Salt Pans offers the dry beauty of endless spaces with flocks of birds and herds of game, the Okavango Delta is a languid water wilderness with close up experiences of abundant wildlife, Kwando is a remote region with river and plains game, and the Victoria Falls offers the unparalleled power and grandeur  of the "smoke that thunders."

Day 01        Maun ~ Nxai Pan

Today you will fly from Maun to Nxai Pan Game Reserve where you will spend 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.   Your first afternoon will be free to explore the wide open spaces on foot or in an open game vehicle.

Day 02        Nxai Pan

Take a day trip today to the famous Baines’ Baobabs and Khama Khama Pan, combined with a  nature walk with San trackers.   Relaxing around a fire after dinner and star gazing in the brilliantly clear sky will be an exceptionally rewarding and fine way to end your day.

Day 03        Makgadikgadi - Okavango Delta

Today you leave by air the arid plains of Nxai Pan and head to the total contrast of the wet wilderness of the Okavango Delta.    Your first stay over will be in the Kwara concession at Splash Camp for 2 nights with full board and accommodation.

Day 04        Kwara

As Splash camp lies just outside the boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve, you will be able to experience boat cruises, mokoro (dug out canoe) trips, walks, and game drives that can operate both off road and at night – all year round.  You will also have the opportunity for fishing except in January and February.

Day 05        Kwara ~ Kwando, Linyanti

Your journey today will take you to border area between Botswana and Namibia where you will stay over at the Kwando Lagoon Camp for a 2 night stay fully accommodated.

Day 06        Kwando, Linyanti

In this vast private concession you will enjoy your game drives both off road and at night.  On your evening boat cruise you can watch the sunset from the comfort of the double deck boat as you slowly make your way along the winding Kwando river.

Day 07        Kwando ~ Victoria Falls

Today you will fly to Kasane Airport where you will be met and transferred across the Botswana and Zimbabwe borders to ​ The Elephant Camp, within easy reach of the legendary Victoria Falls, where you will stay for 2 nights on a fully inclusive basis.

Day 08        Victoria Falls

As well as visiting the Falls and the many attractions of the area, you will meet the Wild Horizons elephants for an unforgettable interaction with these powerful but gentle animals.

Day 09        Day of Departure

You will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport this morning, to continue on your travel arrangements.
