Day 01 Arrival: Victoria FallsOn arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you will be met and transferred to A'Zambezi River Lodge for 1 night on a bed and breakfast basis, before exploring the mighty Victoria Falls on a guided tour in the afternoon.

Day 02 Victoria Falls ~ HwangeAfter breakfast you depart Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park, where you will spend 2 nights at Sable Sands on a full board basis. The afternoon is spent with a visit to the Painted Dogs Conservation Centre which rehabilitates wild dogs.

Day 04 Hwange ~ MatobosLeaving for Matobo Hills today your journey takes you via Bulawayo. You will visit Rhodes' Grave in Matobo Hills National Park, which has UNESCO World Heritage status and is home to both white and black rhinoceros, sable antelope and a dense population of leopard. Once the home of the San (Bushman), this area is a rich source of rock art. You will overnight at Camp Amalinda with full board.

Day 05 Matobos ~ Great Zimbabwe RuinsThis morning we drive to the Great Zimbabwe Ruins located close to Masvingo. You have the opportunity to explore these ancient ruins, before checking in to Norma Jeane’s Lake View Resort overlooking Lake Mutirikwe, where you will spend 1 night on a full board basis.

Day 06 Great Zimbabwe ~ Nyanga National ParkYou go to the the 47 000 hectare Nyanga National Park in the scenic Eastern Highlands this morning and have the afternoon to enjoy nature drives in the area. Wildlife to look out for are the endemic blue duiker and Samango monkey. You will spend 1 night at Pine Tree Inn on a full board basis.

Day 07 Nyanga ~ Bushman Rock EstateToday you travel towards Harare to the Bushman Rock Estate, one of the few estate wineries in the country, where you spend 1 night with full board. After high tea served on the veranda, you take a leisurely guided walk through the vineyards to the pontoon for a sundowner cruise. A tutored wine tasting is followed by a 3 course dinner. You will spend 1 night with full board at the Valley View Lodge on the estate.

Day 08 Bushman Rock ~ Mana PoolsAn early wake-up call this morning is needed for a walk to the Bushman Rock to explore the ancient art adorned caves and granite kopjies. After breakfast at the lodge you continue the journey to Mana Pools, stopping at Chinhoyi Caves for lunch. At Mana Pools National Park, a World Heritage site, you spend 2 nights with full board at Nyamepi Camp, experiencing some basic tented camping with shared ablutions.

Day 09 Mana PoolsThe whole of today is available to view wildlife in the park on game drives and on canoe excursions.

Day 10 Mana Pools ~ Lake KaribaYour journey today brings you to the shores of Lake Kariba. After lunch and a one and a half hour speedboat trip across the lake you arrive at Rhino Camp on Elephant Point in the Matusadona National Park, where you spend the next 2 nights with full board.

Day 11 Lake KaribaThe day is spent on game viewing activities with the opportunity of seeing the Big 5.

Day 12 Lake Kariba ~ Antelope ParkToday you have an early departure as it is one of the longest driving days on the safari. A speedboat takes you back to Kariba to meet your vehicle and continue to Antelope Park where you spend the next 2 nights on a full board basis.

Day 13 Antelope ParkAntelope Park is home to the African Lion Environmental Research Trust (ALERT) and you will have the opportunity today to partake in the numerous activities on offer, such as lion walks, night encounters with lions and elephant swimming! (All optional and for own expense).

Day 14 Antelope Park ~ Victoria FallsAfter breakfast you drive back over some familiar territory to where your adventure started – Victoria Falls. You will stay for the last night of this journey at A'Zambezi River Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis, with the opportunity to fit in some further activities at the Falls.
