Day 01        Arrive Victoria Falls

On arrival into Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred to A'Zambezi River Lodge or similar to spend 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.    You will have time this afternoon for some activities of your choice from the many that are available in the Victoria Falls area.  This evening you will meet your guide and the rest of your group at the lodge at 18h00 for your pre-departure meeting.

Day 02        Victoria Falls

You have a large part of today at leisure to explore the town of Victoria Falls and the surrounding areas, and experience some of the unique offerings, from adventure activities to cultural interactions. In the afternoon you embark on a relaxing sunset cruise with snacks and drinks on the mighty Zambezi River.

Day 03        Victoria Falls ~ Caprivi

​After breakfast the safari heads across the Kazungula border into Namibia, driving through the Caprivi Strip (Zambezi Region) to spend 1 night on a full board basis at Camp Kwando or similar, situated on the banks of the Kwando River. You arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon to enjoy sunset overlooking the river, with a chance of seeing both crocodiles and hippos.

Day 04      Caprivi ~ Okavango Delta

​The morning starts early for a game drive in the Greater Bwabwata National Park, which extends from the Kavango River in the west to the Kwando River in the east and incorporates the Mahangu Game Reserve. Elephant, roan, kudu and buffalo are amongst the animals likely to be seen as well as prolific birdlife. You cross over the border into Botswana and head to Etsha 13, on the western border of the Okavango Delta, to spend 2 nights on a full board basis at Guma Lagoon Camp or similar.

Day 05      Okavango Delta

​Today is spent exploring the network of water pathways through thick vegetation in mokoros (traditional poled canoes), discovering a variety of birds and wildlife. On a secluded island you take a 1½ hour guided walk hoping to spot elephants, waterbuck or other animals living in this water filled paradise.

Day 06      Okavango ~ Khwai Concession/Moremi

​Travelling along the western side of the Okavango Delta the safari goes via Maun to Bedouin Bush Camp or similar, outside the boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve to spend 3 nights with full board.

Day 07        Khwai Concession

You have the opportunity to spend the day on game drives in the Khwai area. In an
open 4x4 vehicle you will explore the Khwai River region on a full day game drive
viewing a variety of game that frequent this region.  After dinner your guide will
take you on a night drive when you can hopefully spot some activity by nocturnal
animals.

Day 08        Moremi

Today you head into the famous Moremi Game Reserve, known as one of the most
beautiful and varied reserves in Africa, with a jaw-dropping concentration of wildlife.
The full day is spent in this unspoiled habitat.

Day 09        Khwai ~ Makgadikgadi Salt Pans

Leaving the bush behind, you head east towards Great Makgadikgadi, once a large river fed lake which now is the largest area of salt pans in the world, incorporating vast grass plains dotted by palm islands. After lunch prepared by your guide en route, the group arrives in the late afternoon at Nata Lodge or similar to spend 1 night on a bed and breakfast basis, with dinner tonight on your own account.

Day  10      Makgadikgadi ~ Chobe National Park

Early this morning you head off to the Nata Bird Sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent view over the Sowa pan, part of the Greater Makgadikgadi Pans. After a packed breakfast you continue north to Kasane, the gateway to the Chobe National Park, with lunch prepared en route by your guide. You will spend 2 nights at Chobe Safari Lodge on a half board basis. You have the afternoon at leisure to partake in optional activities or to relax by the pool.

Day 11         Chobe National Park

The day starts with a spectacular game drive in Chobe National Park. After lunch (at your own expense), an afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River will allow you to get great close-up photos of elephants, hippos, crocodiles and a variety of birds and more.

Day 12        Chobe ~ Hwange National Park

​Today you leave Botswana behind and cross back into Zimbabwe and drive to Hwange National Park, where you will spend 3 nights at Sable Sands or similar on a full board basis. This afternoon you can partake in an optional game drive if time allows.

Day 13 & 14     Hwange National Park

For these 2 days you will explore the vast wilderness on game drives. You will also visit the Painted Dog Conservation Centre to witness the work that is done to protect this endangered species.

Day 15      Day of Departure

Sadly, your safari ends after breakfast.  You will be dropped off at Victoria Falls Airport in time for your onward flight or at a destination in the area of Victoria Falls should you wish to extend your safari.
