Day 01 Arrive WindhoekAfter landing at Hosea Kutako International Airport outside Windhoek, you will be met and transferred to the Olive Grove Guesthouse to spend 1 night in a standard room on a bed and
breakfast basis.

Day 02 Windhoek ~ Central KalahariYou will be picked up this morning and join your group. Then, leaving Windhoek, you travel into the Kalahari Desert, referred to as the “Soul of the World” by the indigenous San Bushmen people. With its deep red sand dunes and endless grass plains interspersed with
acacia’s and shrubs, enjoy the opportunity to experience the fauna and flora that has survived this desert environment. You will spend 1 night at Camelthorn Kalahari Lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. Distance travelled today approx 260 kms Accommodation: Intu Africa Camelthorn Lodge

Day 03 Central Kalahari ~ Fish River CanyonYou travel southwards today, en route visiting the Garas Quiver Tree Forest, also aptly referred to as “Giant’s Playground" because of the unusual boulder formations. You then continue to your lodge, situated in close vicinity to the Fish River Canyon, where you will spend 1 night with breakfast included. You can optionally explore the area on foot or on a guided nature drive in the later afternoon.

Day 04 Fish River Canyon ~ Luderitz
Your morning starts on the edge of the Fish River Canyon, looking down in to its 550m depth, before continuing your journey past the Naute dam towards Luderitz. On the way stop at Garub where you may encounter the wild horses of the Namib Desert. You will spend 2 nights at the Nest Hotel on a bed and bed breakfast basis.

Day 06 Luderitz ~ Namib Desert
You travel north today to your lodge in the Namib Desert. This is the gateway to Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei, where some of the highest sand dunes on Earth are found. You will spend 2 nights at the lodge on a bed and breakfast basis. The afternoon can be spent relaxing at the pool, or taking part in optional activities offered at the lodge.

Day 07 Namib DesertThis morning demands an early start. The first rays of sunrise paint the mountains of sand into a variety of apricot, red and orange, contrasted against a crisp blue skyline, as you experience the Sossusvlei dunes this morning. Thereafter you visit the remarkable Sesriem Canyon, a life sustaining natural phenomenon, before returning to your lodge.

Day 08 Namib Desert ~ SwakopmundAfter breakfast you travel via the Kuiseb Moon Valley towards the Atlantic Ocean. In Walvis Bay you visit the shallow lagoon, a RAMSAR world heritage site. Continuing on to Swakopmund, where you will spend 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis at the Swakopmund Plaza or Beach Hotel. The rest of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 09 Swakopmund
Swakopmund being Namibia’s playground, a wide variety of activities can be arranged for you to enjoy today, ranging from dolphin cruises, desert tours and scenic flights over the desert and along the Skeleton Coast, to quad biking and kite surfing.

Day 10 Swakopmund ~ DamaralandHeading further north, you travel via the Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain (2579m), into the Damaraland, one of the least populated and geologically diverse areas in Africa. This harsh, rocky environment is home to the rare desert elephant, the black desert rhino and free-roaming antelope species. En route, you visit Twyfelfontein, a heritage site where Bushman communities engraved and painted over 2500 pictures some 6000 years ago! Close by, you explore the geological phenomena of Burnt Mountain, Organ Pipes and the Petrified Forest. Here you also visit the Welwitschia mirabilis plant – the oldest living desert plant on Earth. You will spend 1 night on a bed and breakfast basis at the Damara Mopane Lodge.

Day 11 Damaraland ~ Etosha National Park
After a relaxed breakfast, you travel towards the Etosha National Park, famous for its vast amount of wildlife and unique landscape. Having reached Etosha Safari Camp to spend 1 night on a bed and breakfast basis. Together with your guide explore the various waterholes located close to Okaukuejo and the Anderson gate. Day 12 Etosha National ParkThe day is devoted to game drives viewing the abundant wildlife found in the park. Move to Mokuti Lodge near the park exit and spend 2 nights there on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 13 Etosha National ParkToday you enjoy a game drive through the Etosha National Park in the tour vehicle, returning to the lodge for an evening at leisure.
